In game one Saturday, the A’s used a four-run fifth inning to increase their 1-0 lead to 5-0. The Clout would try to chip away with single runs in the sixth and seventh but A’s held on for the victory. Harry Steldt and Cole Erickson each chipped in two base hits while Noah Imrie lasted six and a third innings for the victory.

Game two Saturday as the Clout jump out to a 4-0 lead after the top of the first. The score would remain that way until the bottom of the seventh when the A’s would battle back, scoring three before falling. JT Reed and Steldt each collected two hits.

Sunday the A’s returned to Wisconsin State League action against the Kenosha Kings. The A’s took game one 4-2 before dropping the second 3-1. Eric Schmitz picked up the win in game one, pitching six innings, striking out 11. Brad Rindfleisch came on for the save.
