Coaching Staff
Manager
Tim Moyer
Few people embody Sheboygan A’s baseball quite like Tim Moyer. From his early days as a bat boy and scorekeeper to player, assistant coach, and now manager, Moyer has spent decades around the organization and enters his seventh season leading the club.
Under Moyer’s leadership, the A’s have continued to be among the state’s top amateur programs. The club captured the NEWBL postseason championship in 2021, the NEWBL regular season title in 2023, and has won multiple major tournament titles in recent seasons, including the Play Ball Tournament and Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic. In 2025, the A’s added another successful chapter by winning three titles between the NEWBL (regular season and playoffs) and Wisconsin State League tournament title.
Moyer was named Wisconsin State League Manager of the Year in 2020 after guiding the A’s to a 16-7 record. Entering the 2026 season, he owns 206 career managerial wins, ranking third all-time in franchise history.
A graduate of Sheboygan South and the Sheboygan Legion program, Moyer played for the Marquette University club team, the Sheboygan A’s, and DePledge Dental in the Langsdorf League while completing his degree at Marquette.
Assistant Coach
Ken Neese
Back for his sixth season on the A’s bench is longtime Sheboygan baseball figure Ken Neese. Whether it’s throwing batting practice, hitting infield, managing the bullpen, or helping navigate the day-to-day challenges of a 60-plus game summer schedule, Neese remains one of the most important pieces of the organization.
“I always say, ‘We’ll figure it out, we always do.’ Well, that’s because Kenny is there to talk me off the cliff and helps me figure it out,” Moyer said.
A former standout at Sheboygan South, Neese went on to play at UW-Parkside and was part of the A’s legendary Class of ’86, which became the nucleus of the franchise’s 1991 WSL championship team. He was inducted into the Sheboygan A’s Hall of Fame in 2022.
