The Sheboygan A's picked up a crucial victory Tuesday night with a 2-1 win over the Green Bay Blue Ribbons in a game that counted in both the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League standings.

The A's are home Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week as the club has another busy week ahead.

The A's got some much needed victories over the weekend, beating Kenosha three our of four times to take the season series 4-1.

A bases loaded passed ball in the bottom of the seventh was the difference Thursday night as Justin Schnell (UW-Stout) scored to break up a 1-1 tie to give the A's a hard fought 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Heavy Hitters.

Outside of the fifth inning Wednesday night, the A's allowed only one base hit, a single in the bottom of the second. However, the A's had about as bad of a fifth inning as you can have, leading to an 8-4 loss on the road to Appleton.

The Sheboygan A's and Kewaskum A's, who were rained out on June 13, will make up the game on Thursday, July 27.

Tonight's game (Tuesday, June 13) against the Kewaskum A's has been postponed due weather. No makeup date has been announced.

It's going to be a busy week at Wildwood Park as the A's will play at their home field four times.

The A's completed their Wisconsin State League Challenge weekend Sunday with a 2-1 victory over the defending league-champion Lombard Orioles. A fitting score as that was also their record over the weekend.

The Menasha Macs scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday night to put the game away and come out with a 4-1 win over the A's.
