HARRY! HARRY! HARRY!

Harry Steldt keeps climbing the leader boards – the A’s career leader boards that is.

Steldt was recognized pre-game Wednesday as it was his 500th game in a Sheboygan A’s uniform. He then proceeded to put on a show.

Steldt hit not one, but two no-doubt home runs to deep left field in his first two trips to the plate as the A’s would take a 5-0 leads and win 5-2 over Little Chute Wednesday night.

Steldt now has 10 home runs this season, already a single-season career-high by three, with half the season still to go.

In his third trip to the plate, Steldt presented a dissenting view of the umpire’s strike zone after being called out on strikes and was asked by the home plate umpires to leave the game.

Steldt’s season continues to be impressive as he lead’s the team in nearly every offensive category including, games played, plate appearances, runs, hits, home runs, RBI, walks, batting average and on-base percentage.

The A’s open play in the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic tournament Friday in West Bend when they take on the Chicago Rippers at 8 PM at West Bend High School.
