A’s Announce Exhibition Games, League Tournament Schedule Updates, and NEWBL Championship Details

The Sheboygan A’s have announced several updates to their upcoming schedule, including the addition of three exhibition games, changes to the Wisconsin State League Tournament schedule, and details for the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League (NEWBL) Championship series.

Exhibition Games Added: July 28–30

The A’s have added three exhibition games to the week of July 28:

  • Monday, July 28: at Denmark, 7:30 PM
  • Tuesday, July 29: vs. Denmark, 7:30 PM (Wildwood Park)
  • Wednesday, July 30: vs. Manitowoc Bandits, 7:30 PM (Wildwood Park)

Both home games will be free admission for all fans on a first-come, first-served basis for seating, and concessions will be available. Please note that season ticket holder seats will not be reserved for these exhibition games.

Wisconsin State League Tournament Schedule Updates

The Wisconsin State League has announced schedule adjustments for the year-end tournament taking place August 2–3 at EJ Schneider Field in Oshkosh. The A’s will now play back-to-back games on Saturday, August 2, starting at 12:00 PM vs. West Allis, followed by a 2:30 PM game vs. Green Bay.

The A’s will then face Kenosha on Sunday, August 3 at 11:00 AM. If they advance, the championship game will be held Sunday at 4:00 PM.

NEWBL Championship: August 5–7

The A’s have also advanced to the NEWBL Championship best-of-three series, which will take place August 5–7. The A’s will host Game One on Tuesday, August 5 at 7:30 PM at Wildwood Park. Game Two will be on the road, and if necessary, Game Three will return to Sheboygan on Thursday, August 7 at 7:30 PM.

Season ticket holders will receive free admission and reserved seats for all NEWBL Championship games. Ticket information for all other fans will be announced soon.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
