A’s to Offer Free Admission, Collect Donations for Menasha Tornado Relief During Tuesday’s Championship Game

The Sheboygan A’s are inviting the community to pack Wildwood Park while supporting a neighboring community in need during Game 2 of the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League Championship Series on Tuesday, August 4.

General admission to Tuesday’s game against the Menasha Macs will be free for all fans on a first-come, first-served basis. The Budweiser Party Deck will also be open to all fans as a general admission and standing room area.

In place of purchasing a ticket, fans are encouraged to bring donations to support the Menasha community following this week’s devastating tornado.

Visit Fox Cities is requesting the following items:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Bottled water
  • Toiletries
  • Small & large tarps and large zip ties
  • Heavy duty gloves for volunteers are urgently needed
  • Lanterns/flashlights
  • Mop handles for Rubbermaid mops (we have many mop heads but need handles), plus additional mops
  • Lighter fluid & long-reach/stick lighters
  • Charcoal & firewood
  • Bug spray
  • Small fans
  • Kleenex
  • Q-Tips
  • CPAP wipes
  • Dish soap
  • Canned meats (tuna, chicken, etc.)
  • Body wipes
  • Laundry detergent (small bottles preferred)
  • Paper plates
  • Napkins
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Sandwich bags
  • Diapers (Especially larger sizes – 5, 6, 7)
  • Nutritional/protein drinks
  • Zero-sugar beverages
  • Gatorade
  • 9-volt batteries

Cash donations will also be accepted at the front gate. All donations collected will be delivered to Menasha tornado relief efforts.

The A’s and Menasha are meeting for the second straight season in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League Championship Series. Game one will take place Monday night in Menasha. Game three, if necessary, will be Wednesday in Menasha. Tuesday marks the final home game for the A’s in 2026. The A’s are coming of their first Wisconsin State League Championship in 26 years, and are looking to repeat as Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League Champions for the second straight season.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 PM at Wildwood Park in Sheboygan.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
