Sheboygan A's vs. Kewaskum A's

A’s Drop Lead Late in Loss to Kewaskum

Posted: May 29, 2025

The A’s were up early Wednesday night in their first road game of the season, taking a 3-0 first inning lead and extending it to 5-1, but it wasn’t enough as Kewaskum walked it off in the bottom of the ninth to win 8-7 in a non-league game Wednesday night.

It was the A’s first loss of the season, who are now 3-1 overall, and have yet to play league game’s in the Wisconsin State League or Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.

Non-league action continues on Saturday, May 31, for a doubleheader at 1 PM against the Chicago Warriors. It’s the first MEIJER Family Day of the season — all kids ages 14 and under receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Kids can register to be Junior Starters and take the field with the A’s during game one’s starting lineup. Between games, A’s players will sign autographs, and after the final game, kids can run the bases. Concessions will feature grilled cheese sandwiches and patty melts as the day’s special.

Moana will also be making an appearance at the park, courtesy of Mischief and Magic (character appearances are for one hour).

On Sunday, the A’s will be hosting an inter-squad scrimmage at 1 PM. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.

Tickets are available now for all A’s home games at SheboyganBaseball.Simpletix.com. The 2025 season is presented by Meijer.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
