Early Hole Proves Costly Against Green Bay

The A’s fell behind early and couldn’t dig themselves out as Green Bay handed the A’s an 11-1 loss Tuesday night.

The loss drops the A’s overall record to 6-3, 0-1 in the Wisconsin State League and 1-1 in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The team will be off until Saturday when they travel to Addison, IL for a four-game weekend set with the Addison Braves in Wisconsin State League action.

The A’s surrendered 12 hits to the Blue Ribbons Tuesday night while also issuing six walks and committing two errors.

The offense was also held in check, generating only three hits. Gus Walker (Marian University), Brady Zackrison (Marian University), and Jimmy Juergensen (Concordia University-Wisconsin) all singled, Kyle Flynn (Concordia University-Wisconsin), Jacob Neese (Parkland Community College), and Walker all drew walks to account for the only A’s to reach base.
