Sheboygan A’s Release 2023 Schedule

The Sheboygan A’s are excited to announce their 2023 schedule, featuring at least 26 home dates at Wildwood Baseball Park filled with fun times, food, cold beer, and exciting baseball.

The team will begin their season with CITGO Opening Day on Saturday, May 20 when the club will once again play in and host a portion of the Play Ball Tournament. The A’s will host three games on Saturday, with the final day of the tournament taking place the following day in Manitowoc. Teams for the tournament are still being finalized. The first game will get underway around 11 AM.

The A’s begin their Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League (NEWBL) title defense on Wednesday, May 24 on the road against Kewaskum, while the Wisconsin State League (WSL) opener will be Tuesday, May 30 against the Green Bay Blue Ribbons at Joannes Stadium in Green Bay.

Both the WSL and NEWBL bring back the same teams from last year, with the WSL consisting of the Addison (Illinois) Braves, Burlington Barons, Green Bay Blue Ribbons, Kenosha Kings, Lombard (Illinois) Orioles, and West Allis Nationals. The NEWBL will again feature the Appleton Legends, Green Bay Blue Ribbons, Kewaskum A’s, and the Menasha Macs. The A’s are the defending NEWBL regular season and tournament champions.

The annual Wisconsin State League challenge, a weekend where all WSL teams converge on Sheboygan for regular-season games takes place June 10-11 with games being played at Wildwood Park and Field of Dreams in Sheboygan.

The A’s will look to defend their Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic championship June 23-25. The A’s will host a portion of the tournament on June 23 with the remainder of the tournament in West Bend. The full tournament schedule will be announced at a later date.

The 2023 Wisconsin Class A State Tournament will take place in Marinette, WI August 5-6. The Wisconsin State League’s step-ladder qualifier for the tournament will be August 1-3.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
