A’s Can’t Climb Out of Early Hole vs. West Allis

The A’s fell behind early and couldn’t dig themselves out in a 7-2 loss to West Allis Thursday night.

Gus Walker (Marian University) accounted for over half of the A’s hits, going 4-for-4 at the plate with a walk and an RBI.

The loss drops the A’s back below .500 in the Wisconsin State League at 11-12. The A’s are 30-15 overall.

The A’s host the Burlington Barons in a 5 PM doubleheader Saturday at Wilwood Park. It’s the annual Salute to Service game, where military and public service employees (police, fire, ems, etc.) will receive a free general admission ticket into the game.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
