Kewaskum Upends Sheboygan

The Kewaskum A’s were steady and consistent all night long as they handed the Sheboygan A’s just their second Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League loss Wednesday night, 9-3.

Joey Pettit (UW-Whitewater) and Jimmy Juergensen (Concordia-Nebraska) each had solo home runs while Johnathan Kim (UW-Michigan Commit) had two heads to lead the offense.

The offense only managed five hits total off of Kewaskum starter Andy Neu who went seven innings for the victory.

The 2022 season presented by Meijer continues tonight as the West Allis Nationals are at Wildwood Baseball Park for a 7:30 PM matchup back in Wisconsin State League action. Fans can get a free ticket to the game when presenting a scorecard from any Sheboygan County golf course or mini-golf course as part of our Golf Night promotion. There will be golf games played between innings for a chance to win more prizes. Volunteers from the Sheboygan Society of Scale Model Railroad Engineers will be on hand with a display showcasing their model railroad. Tickets are available now.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
