A’s Close Out June with Walkoff Victory Over West Allis

The red-hot Sheboygan A’s pushed their winning streak to 13 games with a walk-off victory over the West Allis Nationals Thursday night.
With Harry Steldt (UW-Stevens Point Alum) standing on second base and two outs, Brady Zackrison (Marian University), hit a moonshot that hit off the very top of the outfield fence in left-center field, allowing Steldt to score easily and giving the A’s the victory.
The A’s close out the month of June having won 13 in a row. Their overall record now sits at 23-10 and have climbed over .500 in the Wisconsin State League at 9-8. The A’s currently occupy first place in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League with a 6-1 record.
Five different A’s collected extra-base hits Thursday, including Ross Krist (UW-Platteville Alum) including a solo home run to right field in the fifth and a double in the seventh.
The A’s will sit idle through the holiday break, returning to action Tuesday, July 5 when the A’s host Greater Green Bay at 7:30 PM.
The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
