Strong pitching performances by Jared Reklaitis, Dylan Davis, and Blake Kunz led the Sheboygan A’s to victory in their first Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League game of the season.

The 8-4 win puts the A’s at 3-1 for the season.

They will take on the Chicago Rippers in doubleheaders Saturday at 5 PM and again on Sunday at 1 PM.

Reklaitis gave up one earned run in five innings, while Davis and Kuhn were perfect in their two innings each of relief. Reklaitis recorded eight strikeouts.

Brady Zackrison had four hits while Gus Walker and Sage Stellmacher each had three.

Sunday’s upcoming doubleheader will be the A’s first Meijer Family Day of the season. Kids ages 12 and under can get a free general admission ticket to the game, get player autographs between games of the double header, and run the bases post-game. Meijer is the presenting sponsor of the 2022 season.
