A’s Announce 2022 Promotions

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s, presented by Meijer, are about to get another fun season underway with 25 home dates for a total of 33 games this summer.

It all gets started this Saturday with Opening Day presented by CITGO when the A’s host pool play in the pre-season Play Ball Tournament. The first 50 fans through the gates will receive a CITGO gas card, and the first 500 fans will receive a 2022 Sheboygan A’s magnet schedule. Prior to the tournament, the A’s 7th Annual 5K Home Run/Walk takes place beginning at 8 AM.

All Sunday home games this season will be a MEIJER Family Day, where kids ages 12 and under receive a free general admission ticket to the game, can get player autographs, and run the bases after the game. MEIJER Family Day’s will also feature grilled cheese sandwiches in the Sargento Hardball Cafe concession stand. MEIJER Family Days take place May 29, June 12, June 19, and July 24.

Strike Out Hunger in partnership with the Sheboygan County Food Bank returns for all Wednesday home games in 2022. Fans who donate cans of soup or other non-perishable food items can receive a free general admission ticket to the game.

A couple of new giveaway dates have been added this year. Twice throughout the season, the A’s and Boneck Printing will be teaming up for a poster giveaway. Those nights will be June 30 and July 19. On June 21 and July 12, the first 250 fans will receive a Sheboygan A’s hand fan, courtesy of Advanced Comfort Systems.

Many popular promotions are set to return in 2022 as well.

Plymouth Dirt Track Night will be back on June 2 where drivers and race cars from the racing circuit will be at the park, showcasing their race cars in the parking lot pre-game for fans to see and take pictures with. The always popular Midwest Communications Night is back on June 16. Bud Light Night presented by Larry’s Distributing is back on July 7. Touch-a-Truck returns to Wildwood Park on July 13. The next night, Golf Night takes place with golf-related games and prizes all night long. Salute to Service will be on July 16 with free general admission to all those who have or currently serve our military, police force, fire stations, and EMS. Santa will make an offseason stop at Wildwood Park for Christmas in July on Wednesday, July 20.

New to the promotional calendar this year will be a Kindred Heart Families Donation Drive on June 13, where we are asking fans to bring new socks or underwear to be donated to kids. Fans who do so will receive a free general admission ticket that night. Library Night presented by the Sheboygan Optimist Club in conjunction with Mead Public Library will take place on June 22 where all kids in attendance will receive a free book.

On Saturday, June 23, Tom Grams and Ken Neese will enter the Sheboygan A’s Hall of Fame between games of a doubleheader with the Addison Braves.

Single-game tickets will be available through the A’s new ticket software soon. New this season, Bud Backstop tickets will be $20 and come with two free tap Bud Lights or sodas, and unlimited popcorn and peanuts.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
