The Sheboygan A’s and Addison Braves split a doubleheader on Sunday, giving the two teams a four-game weekend split.
In the Sunder opener, Joey Pettit pitched seven-strong innings as the game went to extra innings, before Phil Schmit and Mac Doherty closed it out in relief. The A’s offense came in with two runs in the top of the 10th inning off a big hit from TJ Roberts and a Jacoby Endreas sac fly to win 5-3.
Addison’s pitching shut down the A’s in game two, with Mark Wanner getting two of the A’s three hits in a 2-0 shutout loss.
The A’s are back home tonight against the Greater Green Bay Blue Ribbons at 7:30 PM, in a rain makeup game from July 7. Tickets are available now.
