Offense Sputters in Semi-Finals Loss

Posted: May 24, 2021

The A’s were held off the scoreboard in their semi-finals loss to Little Chute in the Play Ball Tournament Sunday in Manitowoc.

Scoreless heading to the bottom half of the sixth, the River Bandits pushed across the only run they would need en route to a 1-0 over the A’s.

The loss drops the A’s record to 2-1 overall to start the season.

The team will now enjoy three days off before they return home for their Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League opener Thursday against the Kewaskum A’s at 7:30. Thursday is the first “Strike Out Hunger” game of the season in partnership with the Sheboygan County Food Bank. Every Thursday home game, fans who bring two cans of soup or two non-perishable food items to the game will get a free general admission ticket into the game.
