A’s Complete Comeback Against Dodgers

Posted: July 25, 2019

For the second time is as many days, the Sheboygan A’s found themselves behind after suffering through a 4-run inning.

But, this time they came back.

Jayden Adrians hit a grand-slam in the third inning, putting the visiting Dodgers up 4-0. The A’s came back, but fell behind again.

Both teams scored a couple of runs back and forth. Going into the seventh inning, the score was 7-5 in favor of De Pere.

The A’s picked up one in the seventh on the third of Jake Falish’s four hits for the evening.

Harry Steldt led off the eighth with a double to deep center, and after one out, Brent Widder, running for Steldt in his A’s debut, took third on Alex Dee’s infield single. Then, Dodgers pitcher Matt Herman was called for a balk and Widder came in with the tying run. The A’s added three more in the inning to take a 10-7 lead and victory.

Now 27-16-1, the A’s play West Allis tonight at home for Chirstmas in July, with Santa coming to town. The A’s host Green Bay Friday night and Kenosha Saturday. The 2019 season is presented by Meijer.
