Meijer Announced as Presenting Sponsor of the Sheboygan A’s 2019, 2020 Seasons

Posted: April 29, 2019

Sheboygan, WI – The Sheboygan A’s are excited to announce a brand new partnership with Meijer, as they will become the presenting sponsor of the Sheboygan A’s 2019 and 2020 seasons. The announcement comes following the grand opening celebration of the new Meijer store in Sheboygan.

“Meijer was built upon a strong foundation that we support the communities that we serve,” Sheboygan Store Director Jeff Kietzman said. “And it’s not because we have to; rather, it’s because we want to be a good neighbor. We are excited to cheer on the Sheboygan A’s over the next few years.”

Meijer will receive significant exposure at Wildwood Park and during all A’s games the next two summers. Also included in the partnership will be “Meijer Family Day’s” every Sunday home game during the season, where the A’s will have special activities for kids and families.

“The Sheboygan A’s are thrilled to have Meijer as our presenting sponsor for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. As an organization that shares the A’s beliefs of giving back to the community and making an impact, Meijer is an ideal partner for the A’s. This just adds another level to the excitement already surrounding the team and facility,” added A’s Vice President C.J. Skelton.

The Sheboygan A’s 2019 season, presented by Meijer, will get underway on Saturday, May 25. As part of the Opening Day festivities, the organization is hosting a 5K run/walk in the morning, followed by the season opener at 12:30 PM. The game will then be followed by a post-game concert from area band Cold Soda Club. For the full 2019 schedule, tickets, and more, visit the A’s official website, www.sheboyganbaseball.org.
