Unable to get an offense going against Menasha Monday night, the Sheboygan A’s erupted for 20 hits to post a 15-2 win at Green Bay Tuesday night.

The A’s are back in action tonight against Appleton at Wildwood Park and follow that with a Thursday night game against De Pere at Wildwood.

The club is 29-20 for the season and 9-6 in the Northeastern WI League.

Last night Ryan Norton had a single, double and home run. Bryce Brogni drove in four runs with two singles and a home run. Mark Wanner drove in three runs with three hits. Harry Steldt had a double and a homer and Jake Arens had a single and a homer.

While all that was going on, A’s left-hander, John VanderPloeg, limited Green Bay to just 3 hits and struck out 11.

Wednesday is Christmas in July at the ballpark and will feature a visit by Santa and free backpacks to kids courtesy of the Optimist Club.
