The Wisconsin State Baseball League announced that A’s third baseman Harry Steldt was named to the 2017 All-WSL First Team as determined by a vote of League general managers.

Steldt appeared in all 30 league games for the A’s in 2017. He finished with a 3.70 batting average in 114 plate appearances. The All-League third baseman racked up 34 hits, three home runs, 25 RBI while striking out just six times.

His season highlight came on June 18 at Addison, when he collected four RBI while going 3-5 at the plate, falling a triple shy of the cycle.

He collected 11 multi-hit games, including two games where he had three hits.

The UW-Stevens Point alum just completed his seventh season with the A’s.
