A’s Announce Schedule Changes
Posted: July 4, 2017
Things are heating up for the Sheboygan A’s, and not just because the calendar now reads July.
The A’s find themselves right in the thick of things in both the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League standings. The team doesn’t find themselves with many days off the rest of the season…and that was before rained out games in June got rescheduled.
The A’s announced over the weekend an updated schedule for the remainder of the season.
The game suspended because of light issues at West Allis on June 8 will be completed prior to the July 6 game at West Allis. It will start at 7 PM and will be reduced to a seven-inning game instead of nine. It will start in the top of the fourth inning with the A’s holding a 4-0 lead. The second game will also become a seven-inning game.
The rained out game at Green Bay on June 14 has been rescheduled for 7:30 PM on July 31.
The rained out game on June 28 at Oshkosh will be played as the first game of a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 19. It will start at 6:30 PM. Both games will become seven-inning games.
Friday’s matchup in De Pere that was postponed due to rain will be made up on July 25 as the first game of a doubleheader.
The schedule has also been announced for the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic. The A’s will host the Fourwerx Carbon Pool on July 14th and 15th. On Friday the 14th, the A’s will host the Rubicon Red Sox at 7:30 PM.
On July 15th, The A’s will play the West Allis Night Hawks at 5 PM, followed by the Pewaukee Muskies at 7:30 PM. Those games will be preceded by games at noon and 2:30 PM. The winner of the Fourwerx Carbon Pool will advance to West Bend on Sunday for the tournament semi-finals and finals.
