The West Allis Nationals jumped out to an early lead on Sheboygan and captured a 10-0 victory on Wednesday at Harvey Kuenn Field, West Allis, WI.

With eight runs in the first three innings, the West Allis Nationals left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

Widmar racked up six RBIs on three hits for the West Allis Nationals.

Johnny Arnold got the win for the West Allis Nationals. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Dylan Detert ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out three.

The Nationals piled on five more runs in the bottom of the third. Widmar kicked things off with a double, bringing home Kyle Kalkopf and Matt Richer. That was followed up by Aaron Goecks’s three-run home run, scoring John Keane and Widmar.

The A’s travel to De Pere tonight for a weeknight doubleheader.
