A’s Beat Green Bay 6-2 in NEW Opener

The Green Bay Storm outhit the Sheboygan A’s 11-7 but left
13 runners on base to hand the Sheboygan A’s a 6-2 victory. 

Green Bay took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning and added another in the 4th but that was the end of the Storm’s
scoring and the beginning of the LOB saga.

Hunter Berry hit
a solo homerun for the A’s in the 3rd to kickstart the A’s offense. The A’s got another in
the 6th and added another in the 8th when Cole Heili hit another homer.

The A’s are 1-0 in the
Northeastern Wisconsin League and in the Wisconsin State League.  They return to state league action Saturday
with a 5 p.m. doubleheader against Kenosha.  

The win
was the A’s fourth against no losses this year.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
