SHEBOYGAN – The Sheboygan A’s welcomed the Green Bay Storm
to Wildwood Baseball Park for Northeastern Wisconsin League play Thursday night.
The rainstorms held off and the A’s held off the Green Bay Storm on their way
to a 13-5 victory.

Green Bay got on the board first, scoring two in the top
half of the first. Their lead did not last long as the A’s, along with the hot
bat of Carter Amundsen, answered with four runs of their own. Amundsen had a
bases clearing double that plated three runs.

The A’s padded their lead in the sixth inning scoring six
runs on four hits. The big story of the inning was a grand slam off the bat of Taylor
Grimm that got the crowd buzzing.

Afer the sixth, offenses sputtered and the A’s wound up a 13-5
winner.

Mark Wallace went a strong 6 2/3 innings, tallying five
strikeouts in his second career win in a Sheboygan A’s uniform. A.J. Alessi worked the final 2 1/3, allowing
some base-runners, but no runs.

Amundsen ended the night reaching base three times, with a
triple, single and fielder’s choice. He also tallied four RBI and a stolen
base.

Grimm finished with three hits and five RBI.

Adam Ryan and Cole Miklavcic each added two hits and a RBI.

Adam Enwiya homered  for Green Bay.

The A’s improve to 24-13 overall and 10-4 in the Northeastern
Wisconsin League. With the win, the A’s remain perfect in the NWL at home with
a 7-0 record.

The A’s are back in action Saturday afternoon when they take
on the Chicago Clout in a non-league doubleheader at Wildwood Baseball Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 PM. It will be Strike Out Cancer night at the ballpark.
