Amundsen Leads A’s Past Manitowoc

MANITOWOC – Eric Schmitz threw a 4-hitter and Carter
Amundsen banged out four hits to lead the Sheboygan A’s to a 14-1 mercy rule
win over the Manitowoc Bandits Wednesday night.

Schmitz
fanned 11 in gaining  his third win  of the season.

Amundsen
had three singles and a double and had three runs batted in.

Dylan
Detert and Wyatt Olson both had a single and double and Adam Ryan two hits to
lead A’s hitting.

Now 23-13
overall and 9-4 in the Northeastern Wisconsin League, the A’s host Green Bay at
Wildwood Park Thursday night. 

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
