A’s Hosting College Club Tourney This Weekend

Wildwood Park will host the National Club Baseball Association
Division II District V Tournament this weekend.

Competing will be the Club teams from the University of
Wisconsin, Minnesota State University-Moorhead, Grand Valley State from
Michigan and Lakehead University from Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The winner of the double-elimination tournament advances to the
national.

Play opens Friday at 4 p.m.
when Wisconsin (11-3) meets Moorhead (7-4).  At 7 p.m. Grand
Valley (15-1) plays Lakehead (4-2).

Play continues
Saturday with games scheduled at 9 a.m., 12 noon and 3 p.m. 
The championship is at 9 a.m. Sunday with the “if
necessary” game at noon.   Rain date is
Monday.

Admission is $4 for adults, $1
for students 17-under.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
