The Sheboygan A’s alumni report takes a look at how many former and current Sheboygan A’s alum are doing in their collegiate seasons. Early editions will be mostly about former players until the A’s roster starts to take shape. As the season draws closer, we will look more at how new and returning A’s players are doing in spring action.

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (NCAA Division 1)
Derek Peake (2011) – Second on the team with a .383 batting average…has appeared in 14 games (12 starts)…leads team with a .491 on-base percentage.

Jon Capasso (2012) – Third on the team with a .315 batting average…second on the team in triples (1)…1-1 in stolen bases…has started all 14 games in which he has appeared.

Marian University (NCAA Division 3)
Chad Langley (2012) – Leads the team in batting average (.394), hits (13), doubles (3), total bases (18)…has a fielding percentage of 1.000.

Matt Bromley (2012) – Hitting .333 on the season…has on on-base percentage of .455

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (NCAA Division 3)
Ryan Schilter (2010 – 2012) – Hitting .462 through three games…leads the Pointers with six RBI and eight total bases.

Harry Steldt (2011 – 2012) – Third on the team with a .417 batting average…started all three games of the season…has a slugging percentage of .500.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
