Game 2 Suspended

Posted: August 6, 2011

Game 2 of the best of three Northeastern Wisconsin League semi-final series between the Sheboygan A’s and Menasha MACs was suspended in Menasha Saturday night.

Jack Archie of the A’s and Jason Wierschke of the MACs were hooked up in a 0-0 duel when rain hit in the bottom of the fourth inning and forced umpires to suspend the game.

It will be resumed beginning at 7:15 in Menasha Sunday night. Game three, if needed, will be played in Sheboygan Monday night, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The A’s won the series opener Friday night, 13-2, for a 1-0 lead in the set.
