A’s Announce 2011 Schedule

Posted: March 22, 2011

The Sheboygan A’s will launch their 2011 schedule on Friday night, May 27, when the Plymouth Flames invade Wildwood Park for the 7:30 p.m. season opener.

The club will play 20 games in the Northeastern Wisconsin League and 24 in the Wisconsin State League. Games against Oshkosh and Manitowoc count in both leagues. Other teams in the NEW are Appleton, Green Bay and Menasha. Other teams in the WSL are Addison, Eau Claire, Kenosha and Lombard.

Because of the loss of De Pere and Little Chute in the NEW and Janesville in the State League in recent years, the A’s have lost 12 league games and have filled a number of those potential dates with exhibition games.

Season ticket orders and reservations for group nights are noe being taken. Two major events are logged to date – June 14 will be the annual Sponsors and Friends Night, and July 23 will be the Hall of Fame Induction of Randy Wilke.

The complete 2011 schedule follows. All times pm.
