A’s Win at Plymouth

The Sheboygan A’s racked up 20 hits to record a 12-1 exhibition game vistory over the Plymouth Flames at Plymouth Monday.

The A’s scored in each of the first four innings and were never headed.

Grand Berkovitz led the assault with three doubles and a triple. Jordan Rennicke and Jon Valdez each had three hits and Graham Bintliff, Matt Schilter, Lucas Wilsing and Ryan Schmits all two.

The Walter/Benin duo split four of Plymouth’s five hits.

Taylor Schwarz, Chad Gehr and Frank Raff combined on the five hitter, with Schwarz getting the win.

The A’s, now 5-1, play Northeastern Wisconsin games Wednesday and Thursday at Appleton and Green Bay respectively.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
