Bryce Brogni drove in the tying and winning runs with a walk-off double in the bottom of the final seventh to give the Sheboygan A’s a 3-2 win over the De Pere Dodgers at Wildwood Park. It was the A’s second straight come from behind victory.
The Sheboygan A’s took on a tough assignment Wednesday night and gave it a good run, but in the end, the veteran Menasha Macs took a giant step toward another Northeastern Wisconsin League championship with a 2-1, 10-inning win over the A’s in Menasha.
Base hits by Harry Steldt and Jake Arens, TD Walker’s 3-run home run, three walks and three hit batsmen enabled the A’s to score 7 runs in the top of the sixth and coast to their 8-3 win over the Oshkosh Giants Wednesday Night in Oshkosh.
A pair of errors helped the Sheboygan A’s score two runs in the fifth inning and forge a 2-2 tie, but that was it as West Allis took over the game after that and went on to take a 7-2 Wisconsin State League victory.
