
A’s Go Deep, Stay Perfect in NEWBL with Win Over Appleton

The Sheboygan A’s continued their strong play at Wildwood Park Tuesday night, powering past the Appleton Legends 7–4 to remain unbeaten in Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League action.
John Hadley got the A’s rolling early, blasting a solo home run to right in the second inning to put Sheboygan on the board. The offense kept rolling in the third when Connor Lasch tripled home a run and Jacob Neese followed with a two-run homer to left, extending the lead to 4–0.
Bradyn Horn added another big swing in the sixth, launching a solo shot to left to push the lead to 7–0. The A’s offense finished with eight hits on the night, including multi-hit performances from Lasch and Alex Ames. Neese led the team with two RBIs, while Hadley reached base three times, including a walk and his second home run of the season.
Brad Rindfleisch earned the win, striking out seven and allowing just four hits over five shutout innings before existing the game with an injury. Dylan Davis followed with two clean frames, and although Appleton broke through with four runs in the eighth, reliever Bryce Lovisa closed the door to secure the win. David Vanic also so his first action on the mound in an A’s uniform.
Defensively, the A’s turned two double plays and committed just one error. The pitching staff worked around six Appleton walks while holding them to five hits on the night.
With the win, Sheboygan improves to 10–6 overall, 2–0 in the NEWBL, and 3–4 in Wisconsin State League play. The A’s return to the diamond tonight in a dual-league matchup against the Green Bay Blue Ribbons.
