Only five batters reached base Wednesday night, three via walk and two via singles as the A’s were handed a 7-0 loss at the hands of Green Bay.
Green Bay scored four in the third, one in the sixth, and two more in the seventh to get the victory. The game counted in both the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League standings.
Despite the loss, Brad Rindfleisch struck out 16 of the 34 batters he faced Wednesday night. Harry Stledt and Jimmy Juergensen (Concordia University-Wisconsin) accounted for the A’s only hits.
The team will look to bounce back tonight at Wildwood Park when the West Allis Nationals come to town. Jared Reklaitis is scheduled to start on the mound for the A’s.
