Moses Named to 2017 All-WSL First Team

The Wisconsin State Baseball League announced that A’s outfielder Josh Moses was named to the 2017 All-Wisconsin State League First Team as determined by a vote of League general managers.

The All-League outfielder finished the season with a .452 batting average. In 24 league games played, he collected 33 hits with 13 of them going for extra bases. He collected 18 RBI and crossed the plate 21 times. He ended with single-digit strikeouts (7).

On June 18 against the Addison Braves, Moses collected five RBI, going 3-5 at the plate with a home run. He followed that up two days later with a 4-4 game against the West Allis Nationals.

He also finished with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. 

Moses, who completed his freshman season at UW-Platteville in the spring, earned an honorable mention title for the All-Leauge team in the WIAC conference.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
