Having won three straight exhibition games including a 10-0 decision over Branch Monday night, the Sheboygan A’s appear to be tuned up for their first league game tonight.

The A’s entertain the Oshkosh Giants at Wildwood Park tonight. First pitch is at 7:30.

Skipper Shaun Wegner’s A’s built their pre-season record to 4-1 with the 17-hit assault on Branch, which competes in the Shoreland League.

Phil Kramsky had four of the 17 hits, Ryan Solberg three and Taylor Schwarz and Harry Steldt both two. Adam Wilson drove in three runs with a sacrifice fly and a 2-run single and Steldt and Kramsky both drove in two.

Collin Weyer got the win in his first appearance with the A’s, going the first five innings with six strikeouts and two walks while yielding two hits. Jake Ristow and Connor Lenz finished off the shutout.

The A’s got off to a 6-0 lead after three innings, but Branch pitchers held the A’s scoreless until the eighth when they broke it open with five hits before ending it on the mercy rule.
