Snipe Memorial Golf Outing Saturday
Deadline Quickly Approaching
For Sheboygan Day at Miller Park

Baseball fans are reminded to register for the Sheboygan Athletic Club-sponsored Sheboygan Day at Miller Park as the deadline is quickly approaching.

Date is Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6, when the Brewers play the St. Louis Cardinals. Buses will load at 9:30 a.m.

Cost is $47 per person that includes ticket, motorcoach transportation and tailgate party catered by Three Guys and a Grill.

Persons interested should send their check payable to Sheboygan Athletic Club aling with their telephone number to the Club at P.O. Box 32, Sheboygan, WI 53082-0032.

The Club has until Monday to give the Brewers their final ticket count so the A’s have set their golf outing date, this Sunday, Aug. 22, as the final day people can sign up. Call 920-458-6377 with questions.

The Snipe Van Veghel Memorial Scramble golf outing will be held at Town and Country and a special Brewers trip registration area will be set up at the outing to accommodate those who wish to purchase tickets then. Tickets will be distributed when the buses are boarded on Sept. 6.

There are still openings for fans to play in “The Snipe” or join the group for the evening dinner. Cost for the golf outing is $75 that includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, and drink and raffle tickets. Dinner only cost is $20. The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
