A Benefit For Mark Reinemann

Posted: June 10, 2010

Mark Reinemann, a former Sheboygan A’s player and currently on the coaching staff at South High School, has developed a rare form of cancer and is facing extensive surgery and recuperation time.

His surgery, called MOAS (the Mother Of All Surgeries) takes place on June 15 in Baltimore, Md. It will last some 12 hours and he will be spending up to a month recovering in Baltimore. He was diagnosed with Membranous Glumerulonephritis following a burst appendix and that resulted in Pseudomyxoma Peritonel, a rare form of cancer.

The Sheboygan A’s have dedicated their June 17 game against De Pere to raising funds to do what they can to help Mark and Debbie through this. Please join us and do what you can.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels). All Sheboygan A's home games are played at Wildwood Baseball Park in Sheboygan. Connect with the A's on FacebookTwitterInstagram and YouTube.
