All Systems “Go” at Wildwood Tonight

Despite heavy rains earlier today, Wildwood Baseball Park is in good shepe and the Sheboygan A’s will open their best of three playoff series against the Green Bay Storm tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Ryan Scymitz was the scheduled starter.

Tonight is Faye’s Pizza night with free pizza samples and bargain prices on the agenda for fans.

Game 2 of the series will be played at Green Bay Southwest High School Sunday evening beginning at 7:15 p.m. Should a third game be necessary, it will be held in Sheboygan on Monday night.

Green Bay eliminated Appleton in the first round of the playffs earlier this week. The A’s got a first round bye by virture of their league-leading 20-4 regular season record.

Note to A’s personnel: the grounds crew has field preparation taken care of. However, additional help is needed at the park during the game. If you are available please be on hand and report to Scott Stangel for assignment.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
