Sheboygan Falls In The 11th

Mitchell Gardner pitched nine strong innings on the road in Kenosha on Thursday night, but it wasn’t enough as the Sheboygan A’s fell to Kenosha 3-2 in 11 innings.

Gardner struck out seven.

Taylor Schwarz and Brett Clevering had RBI for the A’s, who fell to 24-11 overall, 12-10 in the Wisconsin State League.

Sheboygan plays in the Chicago area this weekend, taking on the Melrose Indians for two on Saturday and then facing the Chicago Wildcats for a pair on Sunday.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
