A’s Lose at Appleton

“Walks will kill you,” baseball people say. They’re right.

Two of the three runs Appleton scored to beat the sheboygan A’s Thursday night reached base via the walk. And the final Appleton batsman drew a walk to end the game and ruin the A’s chances to put together a win streak with which to open their home stand.

The Legends took a 3-2 win in the bottom of the ningh when Sam Radbil walked Kevin Vandenlangerberg to force in Ty Heegeman with the winning run.
