Sheboygan A's vs. West Allis Nationals

A’s Fall To West Allis

Posted: July 9, 2025

The Sheboygan A’s struck first Tuesday night, but couldn’t maintain momentum in an 8–2 loss to the West Allis Nationals in Wisconsin State League action at Beaumont Field.

Bradyn Horn’s RBI single in the top of the first gave the A’s an early 1–0 lead, but West Allis responded in the bottom half with a two-out solo home run to even the score. The Nationals added two more in the second to take the lead for good, and steadily pulled away from there.

A three-run sixth for West Allis opened the game up, and a bases-loaded walk in the eighth capped the scoring.

Sheboygan put runners on base in multiple innings and out-hit West Allis early, but three double plays erased scoring chances. Chase Hanselman led the offense with two hits and an RBI. Cal Casper and Alex Ames each added a double, while Jacob Neese, Horn, Nick Tenny, and Jimmy Juergensen also recorded hits.

Jared Reklaitis started and took the loss, allowing six earned runs over five innings while striking out five. Noah Imrie followed with three innings of relief, striking out five and surrendering just one run.

With the loss, the A’s fall to 18–12 overall and 7–9 in Wisconsin State League play.

The team continues the road trip Wednesday night in Green Bay before returning home Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
