A’s Release Promotional Schedule for 2023

Sheboygan, WI – The 60th season of Sheboygan A’s baseball gets underway this weekend and its shaping up to be another fun summer at Wildwood Park, featuring 26 home dates and a whole lot of fun!
It all gets started this Saturday with Opening Day presented by CITGO when the A’s host pool play and the championship of the pre-season Play Ball Tournament. There will be pool play games at 11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM and the championship around 5:30 PM. The A’s will play at 11 AM and 3 PM in pool play. All fans in attendance will receive a 2023 Sheboygan A’s magnet schedule, courtesy of CITGO. Prior to the tournament, the A’s 8th Annual 5K Home Run/Walk takes place beginning at 8 AM.
The popular Meijer Family Day is back for all Sunday home games in 2023. Kids ages 14 and under receive a free general admission ticket to the game. Parents can register their kids to be one of our Junior Starters that get introduced with an A’s player during player introductions. Kids and families can also get player autographs, and run the bases after the game. New to Meijer Family Day this year will be our kids tunnel, where kids can lineup on the field to give high fives to A’s players as they are introduce pre-game with the Junior Starters. Meijer Family Days this season include May 28, June 11, June 18, July 9, July 16, and July 30.
The A’s will once again feature two poster giveaways this season, courtesy of Boneck Printing. The first will be on Tuesday, June 27 featuring A’s veteran Harry Steldt. The second poster giveaway will feature a team photo and will be given away on Thursday, July 13. Also on July 13 the A’s will be hosting a mascot party with mascot from all over converging on Wildwood Park.
Also new this year is Scout Day presented by Bank First which takes place on Saturday, June 10. All boy scouts and girl scouts in uniform will get a free ticket to the games that day as the A’s host the Wisconsin State League Challenge. The A’s take on Kenosha at 11 AM and Addison at 5 PM. One ticket is good all day.
Continuing the theme of youth, Youth Baseball and Softball Night is Friday, July 7. Any kids wearing their youth baseball or softball jersey will be admitted free that game.
On Sunday, July 16, in addition to it being a Meijer Family Day, Spiderman will be swinging into Wildwood Park to meet and greet with fans.
Many popular past promotions are set to return in 2023 as well.
Plymouth Dirt Track Night will be back on June 13 where drivers and race cars from the racing circuit will be at the park, showcasing their race cars in the parking lot pre-game for fans to see and take pictures with. The always popular Midwest Communications Night is back on June 15. Bud Light Night presented by Larry’s Distributing is back on Friday, June 30. Touch-a-Truck returns to Wildwood Park on June 20. The next night, a revamped Golf Night – which is now Mini Golf Night – takes place with golf-related games and prizes all night long. Salute to Service will be on July 5 with free general admission to all those who have or currently serve our military, police force, fire stations, and EMS. And you can’t go wrong with $1 hot dogs and sodas on July 12.
On Saturday, July 15, Grant Berkovitz will enter the Sheboygan A’s Hall of Fame between games of a doubleheader with the Lombard Orioles.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
