Brad Rindfleisch, Harry Steldt, Logan Vietmeier, and Jake Falish all had stellar seasons on the diamond in 2019. On Thursday, the Wisconsin State League recognized those four on their achievements.

Rindfleisch, Steldt and Vietmeier were all named to the Wisconsin State League First Team, while Falish was named to the Second Team.

Rindfleisch finished second in Rookie Pitcher of the Year voting, losing out by one vote. He also finished third in Pitcher of the Year voting, just two votes out of first. In his first season with the A’s, Rindfleisch compiled a 4-1 record with two saves and a 1.78 ERA in eight Wisconsin State League games. He threw 35.1 innings, striking out 29.

A mainstay in the A’s lineup since 2011, Steldt has been no stranger to WSL accolades. In 2019, hit .290 in WSL contests, with nine doubles and a home run. He drove in 24 runs in his 23 games played, while drawing 17 walks.

Rookie catcher Logan Vietmeier hit .310 in his first WSL campaign with the A’s. He appeared in 24 of the A’s 29 league games, driving in 17 runs and scoring 22. Defensively he had 144 putouts and nine assists.

Although he’s been no stranger to the WSL for the past few seasons, 2019 marked Falish’s first with the A’s, having spent the prior few seasons in Kenosha. The A’s quickly cemented him in at shortstop and Falish delivered. Falish hit .337 in WSL play, collecting 29 hits in 86 at-bats. He appeared in all but three of the A’s WSL games over the summer. He also stole nine bases.
