Walker’s Six RBI Game Gives A’s 12-6 Win Over De Pere

Sheboygan, WI – TD Walker put on a show Monday night.

Walker went 4-5 with a home run and six RBI as the A’s kept their mojo from the past weekend going with a 12-6 victory over the De Pere Dodgers in Wisconsin State League action.

Walker’s three-run home run to left field in the third inning gave the A’s a 4-0 lead. One inning later, Walker singled to right field adding another to his RBI total. Walker also had RBI singles in the first and sixth.

Not to be outdone by his teammate, Ross Krist also had quite an impressive night. Krist reached base in all six of his plate appearances, going 4-4 plus two walks, scoring three runs.

Christian McKelvey, Bryce Brogni, Harry Steldt and Ryan Norton all contributed hits.

It was the bottom of the sixth inning when Sheboygan crushed the game wide open, scoring a crucial six runs on four hits, including a three-RBI triple by McKelvey, giving them a commanding 12-1 lead.

In the final three innings, the Dodgers got the bats going, but it proved to not be enough.

Austin Fox picked up the win for the A’s, going seven innings, allowing four runs and striking out six. Ryan Fields came on in relief, pitching the final two innings.

The A’s are back at it again tonight for a 7:30 PM game against the West Allis Nationals at Wildwood Park. Tonight is Bingo Tuesday at the park, with special $1 bingo cards available. Fans can buy as many as they want, and the first person with Bingo wins half the pot.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
