The District 5 National Club Baseball Association Division II Playoffs will be held at Wildwood Park this weekend. The winner of the tournament goes to the NCBA Division II World Series at Pittsburgh, Kansas later this month

Fan favorites Harry Steldt (UW-Stevens Point Alum) and Brandon Winfield (Marian University Alum), returning for their fifth and fourth seasons respectively, are among six players to return their player agreements for the 2016 Sheboygan A’s season.

Nine year veteran and Most Valuable Pitcher for the past three years Taylor Schwarz (UNC-Greensboro Alum) heads the latest list of players to sign for the 2016 Sheboygan A’s season. Also returning is 2015 NEWBL Rookie of the Year Wyatt Olson (Indian Hills Junior College).

The Sheboygan A's are currently accepting resumes and applications for our 2016 summer internship positions. Summer internships begin immediately after the college spring semester and typically run until about mid-August. Students can receive college credit for their internship hours. All internships are unpaid.

The A's have announced the first player signees of the 2016 season, lead by the return of pitcher Eric Schmitz and pitcher-infielder Nate Heili. Four new recruits have also signed on to play with the club this summer.

Former Sheboygan A's outfielder Colin Willis has signed a professional baseball contract to continue his career with the Lake Erie Crushers out of the Frontier League.

For the second season in a row, the Milwaukee Brewers will open up Spring Training against the state's only Division One college baseball team, a team that is littered with guys who have once worn a Sheboygan A's uniform.

The Sheboygan A’s are gearing up for what could play out to a 62-game 2016 schedule. The team will play a minimum of 53 regular season games. Non-league, tournament and playoff games will round out the schedule.

Sheboygan A’s General Manager Denny Moyer was honored last week by the United Way of Sheboygan County with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the A’s over the last 50+ years.

Sheboygan A's outfielder Dylan Detert (UW-Milwaukee), who ranked either first or second in eight offensive categories and finished third in both slugging percentage and batting average, was named the Wisconsin State Baseball League's Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year.
