Stanczyk, Bischoff Elected to WSL Hall of Fame

Two former Sheboygan A’s standouts, Ben Stanczyk and Jason Bischoff, have been selected for induction into the Wisconsin State League Hall of Fame.

The pair will be honored alongside Jason Dennis (Kenosha), Paul Pulera (Kenosha), and Ryan Toutland (Lombard) at the league’s Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center in Sheboygan.

Stanczyk, a former UW-Milwaukee Panther and Milwaukee Brewers minor leaguer, pitched parts of six seasons for the A’s (2002, 2008, 2011-12, 2014, and 2016). He finished his career with an impressive 1.74 ERA, posting a 23-4 record with two saves across 41 appearances and 212.2 innings. His standout season came in 2002, when he logged 70.2 innings with a 7-1 record, two saves, and a 1.53 ERA.

Stanczyk also proved valuable at the plate. In his rookie campaign of 2002, he made 151 plate appearances, batting .331 with 42 hits and 28 RBI. He finished with a career batting average of .362.

Bischoff, inducted into the Sheboygan A’s Hall of Fame in 2013, played eight seasons with the club (1995–2002). Over 1,500 plate appearances, he compiled a career batting average of .296 with 56 home runs, 374 hits, 278 RBI, and a .387 on-base percentage. Bischoff played collegiately at Marian University.

The Wisconsin State League Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner is open to the public. Tickets are $25 per person, with reservations due by October 3.
