A’s Prepare for NEWBL Playoff Push and Wisconsin State League Tournament

Posted: July 14, 2025

The Sheboygan A’s are entering a crucial stretch of the season with postseason baseball on the horizon in both the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League, and the Wisconsin State League.

Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League Playoffs Begin July 28
As the NEWBL regular season winds down, Sheboygan remains in the mix for the league title with eight games left to play. The top team at the conclusion of the regular season will advance directly to the best-of-three Championship Series, scheduled for August 5–7, and will host Games 1 and 3 (if necessary).

Kewaskum is ineligible for postseason play, so the remaining four eligible teams will compete in a seeded round-robin playoff July 28–30 to determine the other finalist.

NEWBL Round Robin Schedule:
Monday, July 28
#2 Seed @ #5 Seed
#4 Seed @ #3 Seed

Tuesday, July 29
#3 Seed @ #2 Seed
#5 Seed @ #4 Seed

Wednesday, July 30
#4 Seed @ #2 Seed
#5 Seed @ #3 Seed

All games are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM.

Wisconsin State League Tournament – August 2–3 | Oshkosh, WI
The A’s will join Green Bay, Kenosha, and West Allis—the four Wisconsin-based members of the WSL—for a season-ending tournament held at EJ Schneider Field in Oshkosh. The event features a round-robin format, with each team playing three games. The top two teams at the end of round-robin play will meet in a single championship game.

Admission and concessions will be available throughout the weekend, with all proceeds benefiting the Snitz Club of Oshkosh, a local nonprofit organization.

A’s WSL Tournament Schedule:
Saturday, August 2
12:00 PM: vs. Green Bay
7:30 PM: vs. West Allis

Sunday, August 3
