The Sheboygan A’s dropped both ends of a doubleheader to the Kenosha Kings on Saturday at Wildwood Park.

In game one, Kenosha used a five-run second inning to take control early and never looked back, winning 6–1. The A’s were limited to three hits in the loss despite a complete game effort from starter Eric Schmitz, who struck out eight across seven innings.

Game two was a tighter contest, but Kenosha again came away with the edge, defeating the A’s 3–1. Sheboygan grabbed a first-inning lead on a bases-loaded balk call but managed just four hits the rest of the way.

The A’s head to Burlington today for another doubleheader against the Kings, with first pitch set for 1 PM.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League.
