The rain held off and the A’s held on to take a 10-8 Langsdorf League victory over the West Allis Nationals in Milwaukee Thursday night.
The win puts the A’s at 3-2 in the Langsdorf League. They return to Langsdorf play tonight with 7:30 p.m. game against the 4-4 Northern Illinois Legends.
Sponsors, Colleges and Fish will be celebrated tonight. It is the club’s third try at holding the annual Sponsor and Friends night where donors will be treated to a tailgate party; all current college students and staff will be admitted free upon showing their college ID and it is Fish Fryday Night when participating area restaurants will be giving away fish lunches. The sponsors tailgate starts at 5:30.
Last night Harry Steldt drove in four runs with a single and a double and Dan Barwick, Eric Solberg, Blake Fleischman, Dom Todorella and Ty Agard all had key hits. Derek Loomans got the win and Bryce Taylor the save.
