College Baseball Returns to Sheboygan

Barring interference from the
weather it will be a week full week of college baseball in Sheboygan.

On Wednesday Lakeland College and Marian University will
meet in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game and then this weekend
the NCBA Division II District V Baseball playoffs
will be here. All the action will take place at Wildwood Baseball Park.

Lakeland and Marian will tangle
in a 4 p.m. doubleheader.

The 4-team Baseball tournament gets under way Friday
with games at Wildwood Baseball Park at 4 and 7 p.m.

At 4 p.m., Minnesota State Moorhead meets Wisconsin, and
at 7, Grand Valley State takes on
Minnesota. The two losers play Saturday
at 9 a.m., the winners Saturday at noon. A third Saturday game gets under way
at 3 pm.

Sunday games are at 9 a.m and if necessary 12 noon.

The Sheboygan A's are members of the Wisconsin State League and Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League. The A's have helped develop more than 43 players that have reached professional baseball, including 2002 World Series Champion Jarrod Washburn (Anaheim Angels).
